In 1998, Couto was named to NJBIZ magazine’s “40 Under 40,” which annually recognizes outstanding young business professionals across New Jersey, and over the years has been quoted in various industry trade publications. When not helping his clients achieve their goals, Couto enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid runner.

Anthony DeFranco

DeFranco’s extensive background in taxation – including a Masters in Taxation – is invaluable for helping the firm’s clients assess the tax ramifications of various financial strategies. He has built a highly regarded specialty in all phases of tax preparation, planning, and estates and trusts, for clients ranging from individuals and families to closely held corporations and non-profits. DeFranco also has extensive experience in the design and implementation of corporate compensation, fringe benefit and retirement plans.

DeFranco is a past president of both the South Orange Chapter of Rotary International and Orange/West Orange Unico National. He currently serves as treasurer of the South Orange Chamber of Commerce and trustee of the Orange/West Orange Unico Foundation.

In 1999, DeFranco was named a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International for his ongoing personal and financial support of the organization’s mission.

When taking a break from working with clients, DeFranco enjoys skiing and spending time as an outdoor enthusiast with his family at his lake house.
